Canadian Tuxedo 2015

Denim shirt - Vintage | Tanktop - H&M | Jeans - J.Crew | Slipons - Vans | Hat - Spikes & Arrow

Everyone has their own take on the "Canadian tuxedo", but I'd like to think that the Canadian way is the best way, eh?

This outfit was inspired when I first laid eyes on these denim-esque/ acid-wash slip-ons. I immediately knew that I wanted to pair this with a canadian tuxedo. The shade of blue works perfectly with denim.
I chose a lighter denim in lieu of the impending spring … which, by the way, still hasn't arrived in Toronto!

The key is to be comfortable in your chosen denim ensemble because it really does take a certain amount of confidence to pull off a full jean on jean look.

Staying true to my casual tomboy style, I chose baggy boyfriend jeans and an oversized vintage denim shirt to complete the look. I even added a pop of colour with this fun deep red beanie!

Polka Dot, Polka Dot, Polka Dot Shorts (…shoes)

Sweater - Zara | Pants - J.Crew | Shoes - Vans

I am beyond happy and honoured to have the chance to work with Vans Canada to style some of their sneakers and show you how I'll be wearing them in the up coming months. I have always been a sneaker girl (especially Vans) over any other kind of shoe, so its really impossible for me to explain to you the magnitude of excitement I felt when I was given this opportunity.

These particular ones are probably THE cutest shoes I've ever seen and owned! Polka dotted anything is always cute tbh…

I don't know about you all, but these remind me of Minnie Mouse, no?! Can't wait to wear these for halloween next year ;)

Since I don't wear too many patterns or colour, I paired these with a very neutral palette - camel trousers and a white high neck sweater. Can't wait to find more fun outfits to go with these shoes!!

TORONTO

 Sweater - Peace Collective | Pants - Topshop | Sneakers - Vans | Hat - Spikes & Arrow

One of the amazing things about being a blogger is the opportunity to work with amazing people. Recently I've had a chance to work with brands such as Vans, Peace Collective, and Spikes & Arrow. I've worn Vans since I was a toddler and cannot be more excited to share with you some looks in upcoming posts of how I styled my some of my favourite sneakers!

Can we talk about this sweater though?

This sweater is from PEACE COLLECTIVE - an unreal company with the goal
" to live life to the fullest, dream more, do more, and become more; while providing children in Poverty the opportunity to one day do the same "

So for every sweater sold, one child in need will be provided school meals for a month!
There aren't many causes better than helping the future generations of our world have the best chance to thrive and live life to the fullest.

I urge all of you to please check this brand out and support this cause. I mean, its a no brainer - I literally want EVERY SINGLE piece from their collection! (Check out the letterman jacket…to die for!!)

Oversized Jacket

Sweater - J.Crew | Pants - Zara | Loafers - Zara (Similar here) | Coat - Gap (Vintage)

I love finding pieces of clothing in my parents' closet because …well, I don't actually have to pay for it :p

Since officially adopting this oversized jacket, I've worn it with just about everything. But I love it paired with a more masculine outfit like the one above.

Lastly, can we just talk about how awesome these loafers are?! I got them during the Zara sale but haven't been able to wear them because of all the slush and snow. Now that the weather is starting to warm up (fingers crossed it continues) I can start wearing shoes that don't cover my ankles!

Riding the Grid

Scarf - ASOS | Turtleneck - Forever 21 | Jeans - Citizens of Humanity (Similar here) |

Shoes - Converse

If you guys follow me on Instagram (@jessundecided) then you should definitely recognize this grid scarf. Needless to say, it has made many appearances this winter and has kept me warm through those bone-chilling days. It's versatility never ceases to amaze me - I can wear it like a cape (as seen above) or like a humongous bandana scarf or just wrap it around my neck until I can barely turn my head… Trust me, its necessary in Toronto weather.

I paired it with a super comfortable outfit, my favourite cream turtleneck, broken-in boyfriend jeans, and basically "vintage" converse (because I've had them for so long…).
