JESS UNDECIDED X LIANA MARIE

Well hello there! So today is the OFFICIAL LAUNCH of my collaboration with the jewelry brand

I am so excited to introduce to you all …

We've been working very hard on this 10 piece collection for a long time now and we really hope that you all like it as much as we do!

We really wanted to focus on the versatility of jewelry so all these pieces are meant to look beautiful worn together as well as many of them are actually multi-functional pieces. We chose moonstone and garnet as our focus stones because of how amazing they look together. But also because they are more of the "neutrals" of the birthstones - and you all know how I love my neutrals!

We chose this particular collection name because we both love the simple (almost minimalist) bohemian vibe of the pieces and what's more simple than the roman numeral system? So each piece is represented by a number ranging from I to X !

So without further ado, below are some close ups of some of the pieces with a little bit of background to why these pieces made it into our collection!

Wearing (from top to bottom)V (nude),  I (in moonstone), and IV (in moonstone)

V is our charity piece, where we will be donating a portion of the profits to two organizations that mean a lot to both of us. We have chosen Second Harvest and Mission Blue. (There will be a post later really explaining why these charities mean so much to us, so stay tuned!) This piece comes in 4 colours and can be worn as a choker or a wrap bracelet! As you know, I love my chokers and this collection couldn't give me away more :P

I is our daintiest choker that comes in 3 styles, one in moonstone (as seen above), one in garnet and one in a mixed metal. This piece can also be worn as a necklace and bracelet and honestly looks good as either. I've been wearing these around for the last couple weeks and have done necklace to bracelet to necklace swaps midday and I LOVE it!!

IV is a new take on Liana's classic Birthstone necklace that I love so so much. We wanted something that would fall cohesively into our collection that also used her beautiful raw birthstones so we decided to shrink her larger ones down a couple sizes and make it into a two-length pendant! I'm wearing it as the shorter version here in the moonstone, but there is a longer option as well. Another added bonus to having the two lengths is that you get this beautiful detailing in the back with the "rose" coloured chain dangling to about your lower back with a tiny stone at the end too! Honestly, its stunning.

Wearing: IX

These earrings speak for themselves… I mean, just look at them! I usually only ever wear studs, but when we started to explore longer options, I was completely blown away by the finished product of these and I hope you all are too!

Wearing (from left to right): VII (in both styles) and I (in moonstone)

Remember when I said that I also could be worn as a bracelet??! Well here it is - and isn't it lovely?! Especially paired with VII, which are super dainty single stranded bracelets that I love to layer, but look equally nice stand-alone too.

Wearing: III

This was probably one of the first pieces that we designed! I think it really was one of the catalysts to the evolution of the rest of this collection. It has two length options as well! We really wanted to make sure that as many pieces were as multi-functional and multi-wearable as possible because we both wanted everyone to feel like they could wear it according to their own style. I really like wearing this one shorter as a choker (obviously :p) or longer so that I can layer it with a shorter necklace too … like I !

Wearing: VIII

Here's the second earring of our collection, it matches really beautifully with I in the mixed metal style, or with II (which is pictured below). I really love this black chain that has a bronze-gold iridescence to it, which makes anything we make with it so much more interesting!

Wearing (from left to right): VI , I (in garnet), V

VI is our second single strand bracelet that looks really great with the I (in garnet) because of the contrasting stone sizes. Also pictured here is V worn as a wrap bracelet! See the versatility of this collection is just endless!

Wearing: X

You all know that I love love love rings, and love layering lots of them on! So we of course had to have a ring in the collection! This mixed metal ring is super dainty, but also has a little bit of a rocker edge to it which brings me into one of the coolest pieces yet … II !

Wearing: II

I know, I've been going on about the versatility of this collection, but this one really takes the prize. This is our "wrap necklace" made in the super cool multicoloured black chain that the VIII is made with. This was partly inspired by my obsession with the ribbon chokers this summer as well as Liana's creative mind to take that fabric piece and make it into a high quality timeless piece of jewelry. It is basically a super long strand of black chain with metal tassels ending in tiny stones. I have worn it wrapped around once, twice, thrice and even dangling in the back! (see below) I have yet to find a way wearing it that I don't like … I'm thinking of trying it out as a belt over a slip dress… so stay tuned!

Anyways, I know this has been an extremely LONG post for me, but it's because this is such an exciting project for Liana and I! We really want you all to feel like you were a part of our process so that you can understand all the thought that went into it :)

I hope that you will head over to her site www.liana-marie.com to take a closer look at the pieces and maybe even pick a few pieces out!!

xx

lots and lots of love

Jess
