2016 Necessities : Camel Coat

Coat - Zara

(Similar here, here, here)

There's nothing like finding the perfect jacket to take you from grocery shopping, movie watching all the way to a fancy date night.

I have this jacket ready to go at all times, AKA it is hanging on the back of my chair everyday. Lately, I haven't been feeling extremely inspired by my closet, but that tends to happen mid-season (so…right about now). Thanks to this jacket, I can feel put together even by throwing on just a simple sweater and jeans with this camel coat on top.

So yes, if you're still on the hunt for a good winter coat … because you're just realizing its winter like me… I definitely suggest getting your hands on one of a Camel tone.

My #1 Wardrobe Must-have for those Holiday Dinners

Jacket - Banana Republic (Vintage) (Similar here) | Shirt - Kit + Ace | Pants - Aritzia

It's that time of the year again! Holiday party season has arrived, which means lots and lots of food!

I absolutely adore this time of year. Everyone is in such a cheery mood, there are majestic decorations around every corner and delicious smelling candles and fireplaces lit everywhere.

What I love the most though is all the yummy food!! I can't tell you enough about how much I love holiday dinners, but I won't actually tell you how much I eat …because let's just say its a little too much.

So it shouldn't come as a surprise when I tell you that the number one staple in my holiday party wardrobe would be a perfect pair of stretchy pants!

These Daria Leggings from Aritzia are just about the best things to have happened to my closet. They provide the perfect amount of stretch, but also hug your legs enough to give you that support to "keep everything in".

This look above is a classic outfit that I would wear to a casual holiday gathering with some old friends. I love that it can be appropriate for a cozy intimate restaurant setting or something a little more lavish/modern. Oh, how I love minimalist simplicity (#lessisreallymore).

Hope you are all enjoying or will enjoy the holiday parties this season!
